I spent the pandemic weekends on side projects, and learned a few things along the way.


Installed Signal and moved a bunch of my groups there. It's really good!

Now that I'm back in Dublin and have my personal laptop, I'm planning on writing a blog post about things I learned building stuff last year.

Since uninstalling social media apps, I've basically stopped using them entirely. No Instagram clicks, no statuses or stories, nothing. Pretty cool!

Having a blog is kinda helpful for your personal "brand". I've had people contact me talking about years old blog posts and it's pretty nice to know that something I've written is being read by people.

Apparently an American who doesn't know Scottish is responsible for writing a significant part of Scottish Wikipedia, with hilarious results reddit.com/r/Scotland/comments

And Rocksteady is making another DC game! Today's a good day. Wish it was a Superman game though. :(
